The fourth series event will bring together a panel that will describe the value that parks and open spaces add to a community as well as related policy initiatives. Discussions will include: how holistic approaches to development need to include sufficient green space, and how to integrate such spaces in the initial design of the community. Evaluating the appropriateness of park design in considering location, multiple uses and year-round availability, will also be considered.
